About this product
ForgeFast wood screws measuring 6.0 x 40mm, supplied in a box of 100 with a Torx® compatible bit included. The larger diameter and length suit heavy-duty applications such as fixing robust hardware, mounting brackets, and joining hardwood sections where strong holding power is needed.
The screws feature a Torx® compatible drive for efficient torque transfer, and a patented drill and drive thread that forms its own pilot hole, reducing splitting and jacking of joined timber while improving pull-out resistance. A sharp point gives fast bite and can pierce 0.8mm steel.
Finished with Elementech 400, an environmentally friendly, Cr6+-free coating offering anti-corrosive protection lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. Suitable for interior use.
