About this product
ForgeFix ForgeFast wood screws, size 6.0 x 90mm, supplied in boxes of 100 with a Torx® compatible bit. The length and diameter suit heavy-duty structural timber work, such as fixing through insulation to blockwork or joining substantial timber sections, offering strong holding power and shear resistance.
The screws feature a patented drill and drive thread to reduce splitting, jacking and spinning, plus a sharp point capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. Recessed ribs improve countersinking and reduce surface dust, while the reinforced countersunk neck aids holding power.
Finished with Elementech 400, a Cr6+-free anti-corrosive coating tested to 400 hours' salt spray and said to last up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. Suitable for interior use.
