About this product

These ForgeFix Multi-Purpose screws are countersunk, Pozidriv-compatible screws with a zinc-plated finish, supplied in a box of 200. Measuring 3.5 x 30mm, they suit lighter duty applications and thinner materials, and work well with PVCu, timber, chipboard, MDF and similar substrates. The zinc coating protects against oxidation by forming a barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode, helping the screw last longer. The countersunk head sinks flush for a smooth finish, while the single thread design offers higher pull-out resistance and quicker insertion. The Pozidriv drive has four contact points, unlike a Phillips head, reducing cam-out and allowing greater torque when used with suitable tooling. These screws are commonly used in joinery, electrical, plumbing and general DIY work.
