About this product

These ForgeFix Multi-Purpose screws measure 4 x 25mm and come in a box of 200, suitable for joinery, electrical, plumbing and general DIY work. They are compatible with PVCu, timber, chipboard, MDF and similar materials, with the 25mm length suited to thinner materials and lighter-duty fixing. The countersunk head sinks flush for a smooth finish, and the zinc plated coating protects against corrosion by forming a barrier and acting as a sacrificial layer if damaged. The Pozidriv compatible drive has extra points of contact compared with a Phillips head, reducing cam-out and allowing higher torque when used with suitable tooling, and is identifiable by a 45-degree embossed line on the head. The single thread design is intended to give higher pull-out resistance and quicker insertion.
