These 4 x 60mm ForgeFix Multi-Purpose screws come in a box of 200, suited to heavy duty applications and thicker timber sections where extra penetration depth is needed. They have a countersunk head that sinks flush for a smooth finish, and a single thread designed for higher pull-out values and quicker insertion. Suitable for use with PVCu, timber, chipboard, MDF and similar materials across joinery, electrical, plumbing and general DIY work.

The Pozidriv-compatible drive has four extra contact points and no rounded corners, unlike a Phillips head, reducing cam-out and allowing greater torque when used with correct tooling. It can be identified by a line embossed at 45° to the driver slots. The zinc plated finish protects against corrosion by forming a barrier and acting as a sacrificial layer, with the resulting zinc oxide not compromising the surface beneath.
