About this product
The DeWalt DCH172 is a compact, lightweight SDS Plus rotary hammer drill designed for confined spaces and overhead work, such as drilling anchor and fixing holes into concrete, brick and masonry. It runs on 18v XR or Flexvolt batteries and features a brushless motor for longer runtime and reduced maintenance.
It offers two modes (drilling and hammer drilling), with a no-load speed of 1,060 RPM, an impact rate of up to 4,980 BPM and 1.4 joules of impact energy. Maximum drilling diameters are 16mm in concrete, 16mm in wood and 10mm in metal. It weighs 1.8kg without battery and measures 265mm in length.
Other features include an adjustable side handle with depth stop, a belt clip, lanyard attachment points for working at height, and a bright white LED worklight with a delay function. The set includes two 18v 5.0Ah XR Li-ion batteries, a charger and a carry case.
