About this product
The Makita DHR242 18v LXT Cordless SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Drill is a brushless-motor tool suited to both professional and DIY drilling tasks. It offers three modes of operation – rotary drilling, hammer drilling and chiselling – making it capable of drilling into concrete, wood or steel, as well as light chiselling work. A slide chuck allows quick SDS Plus bit changes, and the housing design uses vibration-absorbing cushion rubbers to reduce vibration transmission and protect battery terminals.
Max drilling diameters are 24mm in concrete, 27mm in wood and 13mm in steel, with an impact energy of 2 joules. Features include variable speed, a torque limiter, an ergonomic handle and an LED work light.
This set includes the DX06 dust extraction system, two 18v 5.0Ah Li-ion batteries, a DC18RC charger, a side handle, depth stop and a Makpac carry case.
