About this product
The Faithfull Countryman Bypass Secateurs are suited to cutting live wood, giving a clean stem cut with minimal bruising to the plant. They feature a high carbon steel SK5 blade that is precision ground and polished, with a non-stick coating to aid smooth, effortless cutting.
The handles are made from polypropylene and fibreglass with soft-grip sections, offering both strength and comfort during use. A two-position hand switch adjusts the handle opening width to suit different hand sizes and to give clearance for thicker stems.
With a cutting diameter of up to 16mm and an overall length of 215mm, they are suited to pruning roses, shrubs and ornamental plants, where the bypass action helps keep the blade sharp and reduces damage to living growth.
