About this product
This 22mm open end spanner is designed for larger electrical installations and industrial applications, suited to working with larger cable glands, industrial switchgear and heavy-duty electrical equipment where live line working safety is required. It is made from injection moulded nylon 11, exceeding the requirements of IEC 60900 for live line working.
Only the handle is insulated, allowing access into tight spaces while maintaining electrical protection. The spanner meets Category 'C' requirements, performing at extreme temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, and is built to be virtually indestructible in demanding environments.
