About this product
This 17mm insulated 3/8in drive socket is designed for medium to large fasteners in electrical installations and industrial electrical equipment, suiting heavier-duty panel work and larger terminal connections where insulation is essential. It is fully insulated and tested to exceed IEC60900, Category C and ASTMF1505 standards, offering protection when working on live systems.
Constructed from injection moulded nylon thermoplastic, it is flame retardant and built to withstand impact and abrasion, with Category C impact testing across a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. Each socket is tested at 1000 volts for three minutes while submerged in water, and is covered by a lifetime guarantee on both the tool and its insulation.
