The RIDGID Aluminium RapidGrip® Wrench (450mm/18in) is aimed at plumbing professionals working on larger diameter pipework where extended reach and leverage are needed. It is 35% lighter than heavy-duty models, making it easier to handle during prolonged use despite its larger size.
A spring-loaded jaw design gives quick one-handed operation with a rapid ratcheting action, while the combination heel/hook jaw bites the workpiece aggressively for a secure grip across a range of pipe sizes. Aluminium construction keeps strength high while reducing overall weight.
Capacity is up to 80mm (3in) for pipe and 65mm (2.1/2in) for fittings, with the tool weighing 1.9kg.
