About this product
The Moore & Wright ELM Engineer's Level is a precision instrument for alignment and measurement tasks in engineering and workshop settings. It has a precision ground cast base with an integrated V-groove, allowing secure positioning on cylindrical workpieces such as shafts, pipes and round bar stock. The level is fitted with three vials – main, cross and plumb – for checking horizontal, vertical and perpendicular alignments. The main vial is protected by a rotating shroud and offers a sensitivity of 1 minute. The vial solution maintains its colour and fluidity under varying workshop conditions. Measuring 300mm (12in) in length, 36mm wide and 58mm high, it has a resolution of 0.3mm per metre (0.0035in per foot), suited to machine setup, toolmaking and precision engineering work.
