About this product
The Stanley FatMax 1-43-548 is a 1200mm box beam spirit level built from a single piece of aluminium extrusion, suited to longer-span jobs such as stud walls, kitchen unit runs and large format tiling. It has three vials (one horizontal, two vertical), machine milled on two sides for accuracy, with a bridged centre vial that allows a continuous line to be marked on the work piece. It's wider and taller than many rivals in its class and is described as the heaviest, giving extra stability. Dual bi-material grips aid carrying and vertical use, while shock-absorbing end caps and non-marring side bumpers protect it and the work surface. Accuracy is quoted as ±0.5mm/m on one face and ±0.7mm/m on the other, backed by a 5-year accuracy guarantee.
