About this product

This Stanley FatMax BladeArmor tape measure offers 8m/26ft of blade length with a 32mm width, suited to construction and trade work needing extended reach for room dimensions, framing and layout tasks. The Mylar coated steel blade is up to 10 times more resistant to abrasion than standard lacquered blades, with BladeArmor coating on the first 100mm reducing the risk of the blade snapping. Metric and imperial graduations are provided, with EC Class II accuracy. A 3.35m stand-out allows one-handed measuring over longer distances. The high-impact ABS case has an oversized rubberised bumper to protect the hook, plus a rubber overmould for grip and impact resistance. The 3-rivet, corrosion-resistant Tru-zero hook is stronger than a 2-rivet design and works on the top, bottom or side for versatile measuring. A forward blade lock allows one-handed control of the blade.
