About this product

This Stanley FatMax tape measure is a 5m, 32mm-wide metric-only tape suited to general construction and fitting work. The Mylar-coated steel blade, protected by Blade Armor, is significantly more resistant to abrasion than standard lacquered blades, and offers a stand-out of around 3.3–3.4m for measuring across rooms and openings unaided. The high-impact ABS case has an oversized rubberised bumper and rubber overmould for durability, comfort and impact resistance. The magnetic Tru-zero hook has a three-rivet, corrosion-resistant design with top, bottom and side hook positions, allowing accurate inside and outside measurements from various angles, plus hands-free use on metalwork. A forward blade lock allows one-handed operation, and the tape is rated to EC Class II accuracy.
