The DEWALT DCB184 is an 18V XR slide-on lithium-ion battery pack offering 5.0Ah capacity, giving 66% more runtime than a standard 3.0Ah pack. It suits tradespeople using tools on the DeWalt 18V XR cordless platform, including electricians, carpenters, plumbers and general contractors. Despite the higher capacity, the battery keeps the same compact size and 0.62kg weight as the 3.0Ah version, so tools remain balanced and comfortable to use. An integrated LED state of charge indicator lets users check remaining power and manage charging. Lithium-ion construction means no memory effect and virtually no self-discharge, with built-in protection against overheat, overload and deep discharge to extend battery life. It is compatible with all 18V XR Li-ion DeWalt tools and chargers.
