About this product
This pack of 25 Gripit Red plasterboard fixings suits medium-sized projects where several fixing points are needed. Each fixing uses a folding wing design that opens out within the cavity to create a secure, vice-like grip in plasterboard, and each one holds up to 74kg, making them suitable for mounting large shelves and heavy items to plasterboard walls. Installation requires an 18mm drill bit, and the fixings are removable and reusable if requirements change. Each fixing comes supplied with a 5.0 x 30mm screw, so the pack includes 25 fixings and 25 screws ready to use. They are not suitable for full motion or cantilever TV brackets, or for any fitting with continuous moving, rotating or vibrating motion, and are also not recommended for vertical radiators.
