About this product
This 18mm Gripit Undercutting Tool is specifically designed for use with 18mm Red Gripit Plasterboard Fixings, providing the perfect solution for medium-duty fixing applications. The 18mm diameter creates an accurately sized recess that allows the fixing wings to deploy fully and achieve maximum holding power behind the plasterboard surface. Attaching securely to any power drill, this specialist tool makes professional installations achievable in even the most challenging wall constructions. It effectively removes insulating fibre from cavity spaces, eliminating the risk of entanglement that could prevent proper wing deployment. Perfect for dot and dab installations, double thickness plasterboard, or insulated wall systems.
