About this product
Rawlplug SM Interset cavity fixings and screws (M4 x 38mm) provide permanent anchorages in cavity walls, supplied in a trade pack of 20. The zinc-plated metal fixing has a metric combination-head screw and can be installed with a standard screwdriver or installation pliers, or a special setting tool for repetitive fixing.
The fixture and screw can be removed and re-fitted, useful when moving items such as radiators for redecoration. Suitable for board thicknesses of 2-38mm, covering plasterboard, hardboard and plywood.
Typical uses include coat hooks on hollow doors, shelves and bathroom accessories on plasterboard, and radiators or kitchen cabinets on double thickness or tiled plasterboard. Hinged legs and expanded arms with anti-rotation lugs give increased load-bearing capacity and security, formed from a one-piece stamping with integral thread and flange.
