About this product
Bondloc B401 is a medium viscosity cyanoacrylate (superglue) suitable for bonding metals, plastics, wood, ceramics, rubber, leather, card, glass and many other materials. Based on ethyl cyanoacrylate, it cures through reaction with the slightly alkaline film of moisture present on most surfaces, triggering polymerisation and solidifying in seconds.
The medium viscosity formula requires close-fitting joints and is well suited to small plastic components and rubber bonding, where fast, precise assembly is needed. It has a clear, colourless appearance for discreet repairs, a specific gravity of around 1.06 g/cm at 25°C, and a viscosity of 90–120 at the same temperature.
Supplied in a 20g size, it has a shelf life of 12 months when kept unopened.
