About this product
Bondloc B480 is a black rubber toughened cyanoacrylate adhesive suited to bonding metals, plastics, wood, ceramics, rubber, leather, card and glass. It is a practical general-purpose superglue for workshop or toolbox use, particularly where bonded parts may face vibration or slight movement, as the rubber toughening improves impact resistance and flexibility.
Like other cyanoacrylates, it cures through reaction with surface moisture, typically solidifying within seconds to form a strong bond. It needs close-fitting joints and clean, dry surfaces for best results. With a medium viscosity of 350-450 mPas and an ethyl cyanoacrylate base, it offers reasonable control during application. The black opaque finish suits applications needing a discreet bond line or a match to dark materials. Supplied in a 20g size, with a shelf life of six months unopened.
