About this product
The Makita MR007G is a job site radio designed for use on building sites, running on Makita's 12V CXT, 14.4V/18V LXT or 40V max XGT lithium-ion batteries, or from the included AC adaptor. It has an LCD display with digital tuner, receiving DAB/DAB+ and FM stations, and connects via Bluetooth to stream music from a mobile device. An AUX-IN jack allows external audio sources, and a USB port can charge devices on site.
Audio comes from a bottom-mounted subwoofer plus midrange and treble speakers on each side, with seven selectable sound modes shown by an LED colour indicator, and a My Equaliser mode for independently adjusting treble, midrange and bass. The casing is IP65 rated against dust and water, with elastomer bumpers and a battery protection circuit against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. It measures 285 x 172 x 305mm and weighs 5.3kg.
