About this product
Broadfix Standard U-Shims are plastic packers used for levelling behind screws and fixings. Made with a high percentage of recycled material, they are waterproof and will not swell, shrink or rot like timber packers, while withstanding higher compressive loads.
The U-shaped comb/clip design slides over a loosely fitted screw and clips into place, holding it steady so both hands are free to tighten the fixing—useful for overhead or awkward installation work.
This mixed pack contains 60 pieces measuring 101 x 43mm, colour-coded by thickness: 20 x yellow 1mm, 20 x blue 3mm, 10 x brown 5mm and 10 x black 6mm, supplied in a clamshell pack for storage and portability.
