The DeWalt DCG405FN is a brushless 18v XR cordless angle grinder for 125mm discs, designed for professionals needing access to confined spaces and acute angles. Its flat head gear housing and slim, rubber-overmoulded body improve reach and comfort when working in restricted areas such as metalworking and fabrication tasks.
Safety features include an electronic clutch to reduce kickback, an electronic brake to stop the wheel quickly when the trigger is released, mesh covers to keep dust out of the motor, and a no-volt release that guards against accidental start-up. The guard can be adjusted without tools, and the side handle offers a two-position fit for added control.
No load speed is 9,000rpm, with an M14 spindle thread. This is a bare unit supplied without battery, charger or case.
