About this product
This is a 54v cordless brushless angle grinder from DeWalt's FlexVolt High Power range, taking 125mm discs, aimed at those wanting corded-level performance without a cable. It runs on FlexVolt batteries, which also work across the 18v XR platform, so one battery can serve multiple tools. Sold here as a bare unit with no battery, charger or case.
The motor uses more copper and higher grade magnets with an upgraded electronic module for extra power, while a mesh screen over the air intake reduces dust contamination. An electronic brake stops the wheel quickly, and an electronic clutch reduces kickback if the disc binds. A one-touch keyless guard and two-position side handle aid comfort, with a rubber overmould for grip.
No load speed is 9,000rpm, spindle thread M14, weighing around 2.2kg. Comes with side handle, guard and disc spanner.
