About this product
The Makita DGA452 is an 18V LXT cordless angle grinder for a 115mm wheel diameter, supplied as a bare unit without battery, charger or case. It suits tradespeople already using the Makita 18V LXT battery system who want to add a grinder without duplicating batteries and chargers.
It features a slim, ergonomic body with high-comfort grips, an anti-restart function with warning lamp, an electronic current limiter with warning lamp, a 4-pole motor and a forward/reverse trigger with LED job light. It can use wheels or discs designed for mains grinders and includes a battery protection circuit.
Supplied with a lock nut wrench, side handle and an abrasive wheel. No-load speed is around 10,000-11,000 rpm, spindle thread is 5/8"-11 UNC, and net weight is stated as either 2.0kg or 2.3kg depending on source.
