About this product
The Makita GA5030R is a 125mm corded angle grinder suited to metal grinding work, with a slimline, tapered barrel grip that stays comfortable whether held by the motor housing or rear cover. This reduces hand fatigue during use at any angle. It runs from a 720W motor with good heat-resistance, machined bevel gears, a soft start feature and an anti-restart function for safety, plus a lock-on switch to ease user fatigue during longer use.
The side handle is set at a 20-degree angle for improved grip, and the compact gear housing keeps the tool easy to manoeuvre. No load speed is 11,000rpm, with a 22.23mm bore and maximum wheel diameter of 125mm. Weight is around 1.8kg.
Supplied with a 125mm grinding disc, side handle, guard and spanner, this is the 110V version.
