About this product
The Makita GA5021 is a 125mm angle grinder for professional grinding, cutting and finishing work, suited to metalworking, fabrication and general trade use. It runs on a 1,050W motor with a double insulated construction for operator safety, and features a large paddle switch along with Makita's Super Joint System, a mechanical clutch that lets the drive shaft slip if the wheel binds, protecting the gears and motor.
Bore diameter is 22mm (22.23mm) with an M14 x 2mm spindle. Sources give slightly differing no-load speed and weight figures. It runs on a 240V supply and comes complete with a side handle, lock nut wrench and wheel guard, with some versions also including an abrasive wheel.
