About this product
The Makita GA5040R01 is a 240v 125mm angle grinder designed for reduced vibration and comfortable, controlled use. It features Super Joint System II, which absorbs vibration produced during grinding or cutting to improve durability, along with an anti-vibration side handle and an ergonomically shaped barrel grip.
Safety features include double insulation, an anti-restart function and soft start. The tool-less wheel cover can be adjusted to any position, and a lock-on switch helps reduce user fatigue.
Input power is 1,100 watts, with a no-load speed of 11,000 rpm. It takes a 125mm disc with a 22.23mm bore and maximum thickness of 6mm, and weighs 2.5kg. Supplied with a grinding disc, wrench and anti-vibration side handle.
