About this product
The Makita GA7020 is a 180mm angle grinder for cutting, grinding and polishing a range of materials. It runs on 240v power with a no-load speed of 8,500/min and an M14 spindle thread, taking discs with a 22.23mm bore.
The grinder has a rubberised, soft-grip handle for comfortable use over long periods, and a two-stage on/off switch. The side handle can be fitted in multiple positions around the gearbox to suit cutting or grinding work, and the wheel guard can be adjusted for convenience. Carbon brushes are easy to access for inspection and replacement, and the tool is double insulated with the option to connect dust extraction.
It comes supplied with a wheel guard, side handle and lock nut wrench. Weight is around 5.5-5.6kg without cable, with a 2.5m power cord.
