Makita GA9040S Angle Grinder 230mm 110v

This soft start configuration Makita GA9040S 230mm angle grinder incorporates advanced electronic motor control for smoother, more controlled operation. The soft start feature gradually ramps up motor speed during activation, reducing initial torque reaction and minimising stress on both the tool and workpiece—particularly valuable when working with delicate materials or in confined spaces where sudden tool movement could compromise safety. Powered by a substantial 2,400w motor delivering 6600rpm, this variant combines raw performance with refined control. The soft start function extends motor life by reducing electrical and mechanical stress during startup, whilst providing operators with enhanced confidence and control. Double insulation ensures electrical safety, and the anti-vibration side handle reduces fatigue during prolonged use. At 5.6kg, this grinder remains highly manoeuvrable whilst retaining the robust construction expected from professional Makita tools. Supplied with all essential accessories, this soft start angle grinder represents the premium choice for professionals demanding maximum control and longevity.
