About this product
The Makita GA5021C is a corded 125mm angle grinder for general grinding and cutting work, powered by a 1450W motor with a no-load speed of 10,000rpm. It features electronic controls including soft start, a current limiter, constant speed control under load and anti-restart protection, along with an LED power light.
Makita's Super Joint System (SJS) acts as a mechanical clutch, disengaging drive to the disc if it jams, reducing strain on the gearbox and motor and improving user safety. The grinder has a large, comfortable trigger or paddle switch and an anti-vibration side handle, with brushes accessible via the housing side.
It takes wheels up to 125mm diameter with a 22mm bore and M14 x 2mm spindle, and weighs around 2.9kg. Supplied with a side handle, wheel guard, grinding disc and spanner/lock nut wrench.
