About this product
This DEWALT Wood Auger Drill Bit is designed for boring clean, precise holes through timber, such as beams, joists and doors, and is well suited to creating larger holes for conduit, pipework and cable installations. A threaded centre point helps with accurate positioning, while the outer cutting spur produces clean holes with minimal splintering. The Lewis spiral flute clears debris quickly, allowing fast drilling, and the dual cutting edge maintains performance even if the bit meets embedded nails.
Sizes from 12mm upwards, including this one, have a hexagonal shank, while smaller sizes use a cylindrical shank. This bit measures 22mm in diameter with an overall length of 200mm and a working length of 100mm, and it is compatible with both corded and cordless drills.
