This 20mm Tri-Point Speed Auger Bit from Faithfull is designed for drilling fast, clean holes in softwood and hardwood, including standard waste pipe runs, larger electrical cable channels and substantial dowel joints. The 20mm diameter suits plumbing work in kitchen and bathroom installations.
The tri-point design uses three spurs and cutting edges to produce round holes with reduced risk of binding, while three flutes clear waste efficiently for faster drilling than traditional bits. A self-feeding screw tip aids accurate centring and pulls the bit through the timber, easing user effort.
It is precision machined from high-quality carbon steel with ground and honed cutting edges, and has a quick-release, impact-rated 1/4in hex shank compatible with impact drivers and other corded and cordless drills. Overall length is 159mm.
