This 32mm Tri-Point Speed Auger Bit from Faithfull is designed for drilling fast, clean holes through all types of wood, including hardwoods. It suits larger drilling jobs such as plumbing installations, cable ducting and heavy-duty joinery where a substantial bore is needed. The overall length is 159mm.
Three spurs and cutting edges create perfectly round holes with reduced binding, while three flutes clear waste efficiently for faster drilling and less clogging. A self-feeding screw tip centres the bit accurately and pulls it through the material, cutting down on effort.
The bit is precision machined from high-quality carbon steel with ground and honed cutting edges for durability. It has a quick-release 1/4in hex shank that is impact rated, so it works with impact drivers as well as standard corded and cordless drills.
