About this product
This is a 110V twin-port fast charger for Makita's XGT 40V Max Li-ion battery range, also compatible with 14.4V and 18V LXT batteries when used with the ADP10 interchangeable adaptor set (sold separately). It can charge two 40V Max batteries at once, at the same speed as charging a single battery.
The charger uses digital communication between tool, battery and charger to provide optimal charging based on battery status, and can perform consecutive fast charges. It has two cooling fans, one for the battery and one for the charging circuit, plus an electronic current limiter for overload protection.
Other features include an enlarged charging status indicator light and a selectable melody sound for full charge notification. Typical charging times range from around 22 minutes for a 2.0Ah battery to around 50 minutes for a 5.0Ah battery. Cord length is 2m, weight is 2.0kg.
