About this product
The Makita DC40RA is a 240V two-port fast charger for the XGT 40V Max Li-ion battery range, capable of charging two batteries at once as quickly as a single-port charger charges one. An ADP10 interchangeable adaptor (sold separately) allows LXT batteries to also be charged.
It features two cooling fans, one for the battery and one for the charging circuit, allowing consecutive fast charges. Digital communication between tool, battery and charger lets it deliver optimal charging based on battery status. It has a large, clear charging status indicator light and a selectable melody sound for full-charge notification.
Typical charging times include around 22 minutes for a 2.0Ah battery, 28 minutes for 2.5Ah, 45 minutes for 4.0Ah and 50 minutes for 5.0Ah. It measures 176 x 353 x 100mm, weighs 2.0kg and comes with a 2m power cord.
