About this product
The Bahco 424-P is a 40mm bevel edge wood chisel, the largest in Bahco's 424 range, suited to heavy-duty woodworking such as large mortising, extensive paring and structural carpentry where good blade coverage aids material removal.
It is made from hardened and tempered steel with a precision ground blade that is honed ready-to-use, needing no initial sharpening. The bevel edge profile allows effective working into corners, while the 40mm width gives stability during heavy cutting and chopping.
The chisel has a 2-component handle designed to improve control and comfort during use, helping reduce hand fatigue. A protective holster is included to keep the blade edge protected in storage and transport.
