The Hultafors EDC32 is a Scandinavian butt chisel with a 32mm blade, the widest in the range, suited to substantial woodworking tasks such as removing larger amounts of material, fitting wider door hinges and general heavy-duty carpentry. It is designed as an everyday chisel that stays sharp and reliable, handling both precision work and rougher tasks like adjusting, fitting, prying and demolishing.
The blade is made from high-quality Japanese steel, precisely sharpened for good cutting performance, and protected against rust by an Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) coating. The handle is heavy-duty, built to take hard hammer blows. Overall length is 232mm, and the chisel comes supplied in a holster with a clip for easy access.
