About this product
This Faithfull HSS Plain Skew Chisel, 25mm wide, is designed for use on woodturning lathes, suited to larger spindle work and broader planing where faster stock removal is needed. Made from high-speed steel, it holds a sharp edge longer than carbon steel equivalents, reducing the need for resharpening, and performs well in both hard and soft woods.
It has a full-sized contoured walnut wood handle for comfortable use, secured with a brass ferrule for durability. As a skew chisel, it is versatile, suitable for planing smooth surfaces on the outside of spindles, cutting v-grooves and forming beads.
Overall length is 410mm, with a blade length of 160mm.
