About this product
This 38mm (1 1/2in) Marples M373 bevel edge wood chisel suits heavy-duty carpentry, including cleaning out larger mortises and chopping big joints. The blade, bolster and tang are forged from one piece of steel, made from best-in-category steel for lasting sharpness and edge retention.
The edges are bevelled, allowing easier access into tight corners and awkward spaces. It has a splitproof, two-tone plastic handle designed to withstand heavy striking, with a contoured shape for added comfort and control during extended use.
