About this product
This Stanley FatMax 3-piece bevel edge chisel set is aimed at carpenters, joiners and woodworkers needing precise cutting tools for joinery, furniture making and general carpentry. It includes three thru tang chisels in 1/2, 3/4 and 1 inch sizes, each fitted with a shatterproof polymer handle featuring a soft-grip design for control and comfort during extended use. Each chisel has a friction-welded bolster for strength and a steel striking cap that allows use with a steel hammer for increased cutting force. The handle is said to be 50% stronger than Stanley's previous Dyna Grip Pro Chisel in side impact tests. Blades are made from ball bearing grade EN31 steel to ISO standards, fully ground and finished for sharpness and edge retention. The body resists most solvents found on site, and each chisel comes with a full-length blade guard for safe storage and transport.
