About this product
This Stanley FatMax bevel edge chisel set is aimed at carpenters, joiners and cabinet makers needing reliable tools for mortising, paring and general joinery. It includes five thru tang chisels in 6mm, 12mm, 18mm, 25mm and 32mm sizes, each fitted with a full-length blade guard for safe storage. The blades are made from ISO Standard EN31 ball bearing grade steel, fully ground and finished for sharpness and edge retention. The friction welded bolster adds strength, and the steel striking cap allows the chisels to be struck with a steel hammer for extra cutting force. Handles are made from shatterproof polymer with a soft-grip design for comfort and control, and resist most solvents. Stanley states the handles are 50% stronger in side impact testing than the previous Dyna Grip Pro Chisel range.
