About this product

This IRWIN Marples MS500 set contains six all-purpose bevel edge wood chisels for carpentry, joinery and general woodworking. The sizes included are 6, 10, 13, 19, 25 and 32mm (1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 1.1/4 in), giving a range suitable for both fine detail work and heavier stock removal. Each chisel has a one-piece forged blade made from special tool steel, hardened for a sharp, long-lasting edge that needs less re-sharpening. Every blade is honed and ready to use straight away. A large metal striking cap withstands hammer impacts without mushrooming, helping to protect the handle over time. The ProTouch handles are designed to give a comfortable grip while reducing vibration and hand fatigue during extended use. The set is supplied in a wooden storage box.
