About this product

This 6-piece Marples M444 Blue Chip bevel edge chisel set is suited to joinery, carpentry and general timber work. Each chisel has a high impact round blue plastic handle, contoured for control and radiused for a comfortable grip, designed for mallet use and able to absorb the occasional hammer blow, making the set suitable for both delicate paring and heavier mortising tasks. The blades are one-piece forged with a solid bolster, made from carbon steel and tempered along their full length, with hardening up to the last 25mm for longer working life. The edge is annealed to be slow to blunt yet easy to sharpen. The set covers six sizes: 6, 10, 13, 19, 25 and 32mm (1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 1.1/4in), and is supplied in a wooden presentation box for storage and protection.
