About this product
This Roughneck Pro Series set of five bevel edge chisels suits carpenters, joiners and woodworkers carrying out mortising, paring and general timber preparation. Made from chrome vanadium steel and heat treated for durability, each chisel has a bevel edge blade with a 25° ground angle and a pre-honed 30° cutting angle, so it can be used straight away without further sharpening. The thru-tang construction transfers striking force efficiently from handle to cutting edge, while soft-grip handles offer comfort during extended use and heavy-duty end caps withstand repeated mallet or hammer strikes. Tip protectors are included to guard the cutting edges in storage and transit. The set covers five common widths: 6mm (1/4in), 13mm (1/2in), 19mm (3/4in), 25mm (1in) and 32mm (1 1/4in), and is supplied in a canvas wallet for storage and transport on site.
