About this product
The DeWalt DCS579 is a 54V XR FlexVolt cordless circular saw suited to general-purpose ripping, crosscutting and bevelling of wood and other construction materials. Its brushless motor gives corded-like performance while running from FlexVolt batteries, which are also compatible with DeWalt's 18V XR range. The bevel angle adjusts up to 57°, with cutting depth up to 61mm (57mm using the guide rail system it is compatible with).
The saw has a balanced, low-vibration design with an additional handle for two-handed use, AirLock-compatible dust extraction, a dust blower to clear the cut line, and an LED work light. It runs a 190mm blade with a 30mm bore at 5,800rpm.
Supplied with a 24T TCT blade, rip fence, dust extraction spout, two 54V/9.0Ah FlexVolt batteries, a multi-voltage fast charger and a TSTAK carry case.
