About this product
The Makita HS6601 is a compact circular saw fitted with a 1,050W motor and a 165mm blade, giving a maximum cutting depth of 54.5mm at 90 degrees and 37.5mm at 45 degrees. It runs at a no-load speed of 5,200rpm and uses a 20mm bore blade. The aluminium die-cast base plate, safety cover and blade casing provide stability and durability.
Control is aided by an ergonomic soft-grip handle and a cast alloy quadrant for clear angle adjustment. The saw tilts on front and rear pivots for bevel cuts and is guide-rail compatible. A rear-facing dust exhaust port keeps the cutting line visible and directs extraction hoses out of the way.
The saw weighs around 3.7-3.8kg and is supplied with a dust nozzle or side fence, a guide rule, a TCT saw blade and a hex wrench, depending on retailer.
