About this product
The Makita DDF482 is an 18V LXT cordless drill driver supplied as a bare unit, without battery, charger or case — suited to tradespeople already using Makita 18V LXT batteries. It combines drilling and fastening capability, with maximum drilling capacities of 38mm in wood and 13mm in steel, and 21 torque settings plus a dedicated drill mode.
A two-speed gearbox offers 0-600 rpm for high-torque fastening and 0-1,900 rpm for faster drilling, with maximum fastening torque of 62Nm in hard joints and 36Nm in soft joints. The keyless chuck accepts 1.5-13mm bits.
Other features include a variable-speed trigger, forward/reverse rotation, an electric brake, twin LED job light, ergonomic soft grip, metal gears, and a battery protection circuit against overdischarge, high temperature or overload.
