About this product
This is a solid carbide rotary burr from Dormer's P801 range, made in a cylinder shape without an end cut and finished with a double cut flute pattern. It is suited to general machining and precision surface work across a wide range of materials, including steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and its alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. The burr has a toughened and hardened steel shank for rigidity and strength, helping to reduce bending and vibration and extend tool life. The double cut geometry aids control, improves metal removal rate and helps break swarf into manageable pieces. Specification: cut diameter 16mm, shank diameter 6mm, working length 25mm, overall length 70mm, cylindrical shank, uncoated (bright) finish.
